Activities That Help Me Recharge

We all need time in a day to recharge, and that can be done through different activities. For me, here are the list of the activities that me recharge:

1) Listening Music

Music feels like therapy, especially at night. I wait for the sun to go down, and everyone to fall asleep to be alone with music. The genre of music depends on my mood. Tonight it’s romantic, other nights it’s item songs, and sometimes it’s pop.

With my earphones on, I escape into a world of my own and enjoy the moment. After 30 minutes or an hour, I turn off the music and remove my ear phones. The feeling afterwards is priceless, I feel calm and refreshed.

2) Drawing Mandala

I started drawing mandalas during the pandemic, when everything was shut down, including us in our home. Pinterest, the pictures on social media and google inspire me to create a creative mandala. For me, drawing mandalas is also a therapy.

But, to make something beautiful, my mind needs to be clear and free of other commitments. It gives me satisfaction seeing the final piece, knowing that I made it with my own hands.

3) Taking Online Course

Yes, taking an online course helps me to recharge! I enroll in free courses on different platforms like Coursera and Great Learning Academy. I can complete the courses at my own time, and there is no pressure of anything. The lack of pressure and the flexibility are why I enjoy learning on these platforms.

4) Watching Series/Films/Videos/Reels

I guess this would be on the majority’s list that helps them to recharge. I love FRIENDS! It is one of my favorites! Likewise, I prefer comedy, horror and rom-com movies. But mostly comedy! It gives me a good laugh, which automatically helps to boost my mood. Also, scrolling through reels and watching videos on YouTube is refreshing too.

And now I have added writing to my list of activities that help me recharge! I now wish to continue my blogging journey by sharing my thoughts with you.

Do you have any unique activities that help you recharge? Or maybe you relate to one of mine? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
